Hevreh’s Annual Tzedek Circle of Honor Celebration

On June 9, 2018 Hevreh of Southern Berkshire held its first Tzedek Circle of Honor event. This honor is bestowed upon members who exemplify Hevreh’s values and a commitment to the broader Jewish community. The Tzedek Circle of Honor reminds us of our directive from the Torah, Tzedek, Tzedek, Tirdof: Justice, justice, shall you pursue (Deut. 16:20).

The 2018 honorees were Rabbi Everett and Mary Gendler and Barry and Carol Beyer.

On Friday July 5, 2019, Hevreh welcomed Shelley Rolf into the Tzedek Circle of Honor with a backyard picnic celebration followed by Shabbat Services. Shelley embodies the best of what Hevreh aspires to be: her warmth, love and commitment have helped us to grow as a community.
